Air Miles Extends Elite Statuses and One-Time Change Fee Waiver

Air Miles announced that Air Miles Gold and Onyx members will receive an extension on their elite status. Furthermore, there is an extension the waiver period for travel change fees.

You may have received an email from Air Miles that looks like this:

Elite Status Extension

Basically, Air Miles collectors who earned their elite statuses in 2019 would normally receive the new elite status for the remainder of 2019 plus the full 2020. These statuses are now being extended to December 31, 2021.

Note that whatever status you earn in 2020 was going to be automatically run til end of December 2021.

Travel change fee extension

Furthermore, Air Miles is also extended its one-time change fees waiver for all travel until May 31, 2020.
