[REVIEW] Desjardins Odyssey Visa Infinite Privilege

Desjardins offers a very hidden credit card that you cannot easily apply for, but there are some information from the Desjardins website that you can gain access to.

Below are the highlights of the Desjardins Odyssey Visa Infinite Privilege:

  • $395 annual fee (or $295 if you’re a Desjardins member)
  • Minimum income (or Family income): $200,000
  • Earn 2% BONUSDOLLARs for all purchases
  • Receive a 20% bonus rewards annually
  • Receive 12 complimentary Desjardins Odyssey Lounge every year
  • Receive 6 Priority Pass lounge passes every year

The annual fee is obviously quite steep, along with the minimum income requirement to qualify for this credit card.

The main benefit is the 20% bonus annually, which means if you keep this credit card year after year, you will receive 2.4% return on all purchases, which is quite competitive. What you need to calculate is whether the extra 0.4% is worth it to cover the annual fee.

Granted you do receive a fair amount of lounge passes, which would be most useful if you connect through the Montréal–Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport (YUL), as they are the only airport with a Desjardins Odyssey Lounge.

Personally, I would only consider this credit card if I was a Desjardins member, bringing the annual down to $295, which is more bearable if you can take full advantage of all its benefits.

    1. Thanks for the hyperlink! I added it to the post.

I never talk about the interest rates because if you ever need to pay any interest, it will nullify any rewards that you would accumulate.

  1. Thanks Matthew and Simon. Do you know if the lounge passes are transferable? Are the passes issued per calendar year or per 12 month cycle? Thanks!

    1. For Priority Pass lounge access, it is like other Privilege cards, you can use any of those 6 passes per year on a companion, but they have to fly on the same day.

For the Desjardins lounge, seems like it is only access for the cardholder.

I believe they are both per membership year.

      1. Hello,

You can invite 1 adult and 2 children (up to 17 year old)to the Desjardins lounge in Montreal Airport. You can find this information in the contract.

    1. Hi Julie, how to be qualified for the private wealth management? I tried to search, but couldn’t find such info, thank you.

      1. Generally case by case. You would need to speak to someone at Desjardins. Not something black and white that you qualify for that you would be able to read about…

      2. I just checked with Desjardins Private Wealth Management, you need to invest at least $ 1 Million to be qualified.

    2. Hello Julie,
