Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) and Lowe’s Canada Team Up
Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) and Lowe’s Canada announced a joint initiative to earn bonus cash back when making purchases at Lowe’s.
Effective today, September 22, 2022, RBC debit and credit card holders can earn cash back in the form of statement credits at all “Lowe’s, RONA and Réno-Dépôt corporate stores” (thereafter “Lowe’s”) across Canada.
The cash back works as follows:
- Earn 10% cash back on the first $1,000 in spending (for the first 12 months) at Lowe’s for new RBC credit card applications (apply before July 31, 2023)
- Earn 1% additional cash back on all purchases (for the first 12 months)
- Earn 10% cash back on the first $250 of spending at Lowe’s using a RBC debit card
- Earn 5% cash back on their next $1,250 of total spend (after first $250 in spending mentioned above)
- Earn 5% cash back on the first $3,000 of spending at Lowe’s using business business debit card
RBC clients will need to sign-in to RBC Online Banking, the RBC Mobile app or the Avion Rewards app to load the offers. The cash back savings will be credited automatically as a statement credit.
RBC is also working on a more flexible payment option at checkout, both in-store and online with Lowe’s, RONA and Réno-Dépôt. So watch for that too!
