Top Higher than Normal Sign Up Bonuses for July 2020

For the rest of the credit cards, I ranked the credit cards by the price of the annual fees (lowest to highest):

BMO Air Miles MasterCard

  • No annual fee
  • Earn 800 sign up bonus Air Miles (earn 400 miles after the first purchase and another 400 miles after spending $1,000 within the first 3 months) (if you apply before October 31, 2020)
  • Normally 200 sign up bonus

BMO Rewards MasterCard

  • No annual fee
  • Earn 20,000 sign up bonus points (earn 10,000 after the first purchase and another 10,000 after spending $1,000 in the first 3 months) (if you apply before October 31, 2020)
  • Normally 10,000 sign up bonus

RBC WestJet World Elite MasterCard

  • $119 annual fee
  • Earn $350 sign up bonus points (earn $250 after the welcome bonus and another $100 after the first purchase in the first 3 months) (if you apply before October 31, 2020)
  • Normally $250 sign up bonus

BMO Air Miles World Elite MasterCard

  • $120 annual fee (first year fee waived if you apply before October 31, 2020)
  • Earn 3,000 sign up bonus Air Miles (earn 1,000 miles after the first purchase and earn an additional 2,000 miles after spending $3,000 within the first 3 months) (if you apply before October 31, 2020)
  • Normally, 2,000 sign up bonus
  • Have at least $80,000 in personal annual income or $150,000 household income

Scotiabank Passport Visa Infinite Card

  • $139 annual fee
  • $50 annual fee for each supplementary card (first supplementary card free)
  • Earn 30,000 Scotia Rewards sign up bonus points (earn 30,000 points after spending $1,000 in the first 3 months) (if you apply before August 31, 2020)
  • Earn 2,000 Scotia Rewards bonus points after every $10,000 in addition to the first $40,000 in a calendar year
  • Normally 25,000 points
  • Have at least $60,000 in personal annual income, $100,000 in annual household income or $250,000 in assets under management

HSBC World Elite MasterCard

  • $149 annual fee (first year fee waived if you apply before August 17, 2020; except Quebec)
  • Earn 90,000 sign up bonus points (Quebec only) (earn 20,000 after the first purchase and earn 70,000 bonus points for keeping the account active for 180 days) (if you apply before August 17, 2020)
  • Earn 60,000 sign up bonus points (rest of Canada) (earn 20,000 after the first purchase and earn 40,000 bonus points after spending $5,000 in the first 180 days); (if you apply before August 17, 2020)
  • Normally 20,000 sign up bonus points
  • Have at least $80,000 in personal annual income, $150,000 household income or have $400,000 asset under management

HSBC Premier World Elite MasterCard

  • Earn 40,000 sign up bonus Scotia Reward points (earn 30,000 for spending $5,000 within the first 3 months and earn 10,000 Scotia Reward bonus points for spending $60,000 in the first 12 months) (if you apply before October 31, 2020)
  • Normally 30,000 sign up bonus points
  • Have at least $60,000 personal annual income, $100,000 annual household income or $250,000 assets under management, as well as a minimum business annual sales revenue of $500,000
