Children Travel for $20 this Winter on VIA Rail
VIA Rail usually runs a weekly Discount Tuesday promotion whereby certain tickets go on sale for bookings made within a 24-hour period every Tuesday. This offer is taking a pause until January 10, 2023, while a children promotion will run until then.
Children Travel for $20
For children between the ages of 2 and 11 years old, any ticket booked before January 5, 2023 for travel between January 10, 2023 to March 21, 2023, will only be $20 for a one-way in Economy class across the entire VIA Rail network. Children under the age of 2 are already free.
Terms and Conditions
Below are a list of terms and conditions to keep in mind for the booking:
- Children aged 2-11 must be accompanied by at least 1 adult at least 18 years of age.
- Up to 5 children may travel for $20 per adult travelling on the same dates, trains, and between the same stations.
- There are no blackout dates during the promotional period between January 10, 2023 and March 21, 2023.
- Tickets are non-exchangeable and non-refundable.
- Valid for travel across the VIA Rail network on Economy class.
- This promotion applies to new bookings only.
