[PROMOTION] Earn up to 25,000 Aeroplan with TD Bank (expired)
Since TD Bank has become a partner with Aeroplan, they have begun offering products that allow you to earn Aeroplan points. I have previously written about two TD Aeroplan credit cards, the Infinite and Infinite Privilege credit cards.
In addition to credit cards, you can earn Aeroplan points by opening a bank account with TD. Until March 31, 2014, you can earn 20,000 points when you open an All-Inclusive or Unlimited Personal Chequing Account. You will need to complete two of following three transactions through that account: Direct deposit, Pre-Authorized debit, Online Bill Payment, by May 19, 2014. The additional 5,000 points is earned when you set up overdraft protection on that account by May 19, 2014.
For the TD All-Inclusive Chequing Account, there is a $29.95 monthly account fee or the fee is waived if you maintain a monthly account balance of $5,000.
For the TD Unlimited Chequing Account, there is a $14.95 monthly account fee or the fee is waived if you maintain a monthly account balance of $3,500.
If you can fulfill all the requirements, then this can be a great way to top up your Aeroplan account. Remember to read the fee requirements carefully because the hidden fees are everywhere, including with the overdraft protection.
