Had a Blast at Frequent Traveler University Dallas 2015
This past weekend, Shirley and I attended our first Frequent Traveler University (FTU) conference in Dallas! There was quite a turnout of bloggers, even some outside the continent to attend this conference. It was a very well organized and enjoyable event. All the FTU organizers including staff, sponsors, volunteers, and speakers did a wonderful job hosting this event for the entire weekend!
The sessions included a lot of useful discussions on concepts and topics that apply even to us Canadians, so it is worthwhile to check out for their next conference. It was great to learn from and get acquainted with fellow bloggers like Daraius and Emily from Million Miles Secret, Darren from Flying First (all the way from Australia!), Carrie from Travel is Free, event sponsor Tyler and Brent from LoungeBuddy, and even a Pointshogger fan!

We met Pointshogger fan Joseph at the FTU event. It was an honour to find out that we are the only Canadian blogger that he follows… and he isn’t even Canadian!
Unfortunately the weather wasn’t too great so we didn’t get to explore the city too much, but we would definitely go back and attend future ones as it is nice to be around people who share the same passion on travelling and the points world. FTU is a great place to learn tips and tricks, as well as making new friends along the way.
