Please let us know in the comment section below if you would like to see other types of monthly lists or if we missed any promotions!
Hi Matt, for the HSBC World Primier card, do you know what the points values are in terms of cashback? The points/dollar ratio
Hi Edward,
Here you go:
200 HSBC Rewards points = $1 travel credit
25,000 HSBC Rewards points = 8,000 Asia Miles
25,000 HSBC Rewards points = 9,000 Singapore KrisFlyer miles
25,000 HSBC Rewards points = 10,000 British Airways Avios
Watch out if you wait until the near end of the promotion period to apply; my wife applied on August 16th under the previous promotion (60,000 bonus points) which ended August 17th. They asked her to come in to the branch to verify her ID, their earliest available appointment was August 28th. We didn’t receive the card until September 17th (well after the new promo started). A few days later we got a statement in the mail showing the $149 annual fee was applied to the brand new account! It took almost an hour on the phone with them to get them to waive the fee. They tried to tell us that because the application wasn’t approved until after the promotion ended we didn’t qualify. We tried to get them to give us the 100,000 bonus points since it took a month for the card to arrive but no dice.
Good advice Pluto! Best not to leave things at the last minute cause if those customer services Reps do not see the promotion online anymore, they tend to get real confused too.
