[AIRLINE] Elite Status with British Airways Executive Club Avios
We previously wrote about the British Airways (“BA”) Executive Club program. Today, we will focus on the elite program with the Executive Club. With Executive club, you earn Avios points, which you can redeem for reward flights. But to achieve elite status, you need to earn “Tier” points.Tier points are earned by flying with BA and Oneworld airline partners. The number you earn depends on your ticket type, distance traveled and your class of travel. Tier points are calculated on a calendar year basis.
Blue

Bronze
Attained after you:
- Fly on British Airways at least 2 times and earn 300 Tier Points or take a total of 25 BA flights
Benefits include:
- All of the Blue membership benefits
- Earn 25% bonus Avios
- Priority check-in and boarding
- Free seat selection 7 days before departure
Silver
Attained after you:
- Fly on British Airways at least 4 times and earn 600 tier Points or take a total of 50 BA flights.
Benefits include:
- All of the Blue and Bronze membership benefits
- Earn 100% bonus Avios
- Free seat selection from time of booking
- Access to business lounges
- Additional baggage allowance
Gold
Attained after you:
- Fly on British Airways at least 4 times and earn 1,500 tier Points
Benefits include:
- All of the Blue, Bronze and Silver membership benefits
- First class check-in and boarding
- Access to First lounges
- Additional reward flight availability
