[TRAVEL] Safety First

It is always sad to hear news about plane crashes, Germanwings Flight 4U9525. Furthermore, in 2014, we also saw two Malaysia Airlines flights: Flight 370 and Flight 17 ending in disasters as well. These are not the only stories that we hear about.

Every year, I mention that I hope to see improved safety and security for travellers (2014, 2015). To me, safety and security always comes first when it comes to travelling. Without those two factors, nothing else really matters at the end of the day.

It may not be possible to prevent every single problem, but I do hope that everyone in the transportation industry, including the government (transport, boarder services, etc.), airport authorities, airlines, maintenance crews, are always at the top of their game. This is a major industry that transports millions of people a day, so a lot can go wrong.
