Best Current First Year Fee Waived Cards for July 2018
Quite a few promotions expired at the end of June. Many of them got extended till the end of October, others fell off the list (namely AMEX and a couple of BMO cards). Furthermore, a few others made it to the list this month. So for, this has been a fairly strong list of promotions that waives the first year fee.

Limited time offers with no end date
This is the newest list that I added, since there are at least two credit cards that fit this criteria. Since there is no specific end date, it may very well terminate without notice.
Meridian Visa Infinite Cash Back Card
- $99 annual fee (first year fee waived for a limited time)
- $30 annual fee for supplementary cardholders
- Earn 4% cash back on gas and grocery store purchases (on the first $25,000 in purchases, then 1% for all other purchases)

Both CIBC Aventura gold and infinite credit card now also have $100 travel credit. I think that’s new.

Does anyone know what are the eligibility requirements for the HSBC World Elite Mastercard?
I took this from their webiste:
“Have a minimum annual gross personal income of $80,000 or a minimum annual gross household income of $150,000; or $400,000 in assets at any Canadian Financial Institution”
