Since the start of the decade (2022, 2021, 2020), we managed to update this list every December, mine as well keep going.

There were quite a few major changes in the industry, so there was some shift in the rankings. They are now divided in the 3 groups: top 5, from 6 to 10, and the rest.

[DISCONTINUED] HSBC Canada Credit Cards

I really did not see this one coming. We were aware of RBC purchasing HSBC Canada for almost a year now. The hope was that they would do something like TD did when they purchased MBNA Canada back in 2011. After all this time, TD has continued to keep the MBNA name on their credit card product line, rather than a full integration to TD.

Travel has really spiked in 2023, compared to the past 3 years. As a result, there has been lots of complaints about overcrowding in airport lounges. Part of the reason is the free lounge access that people can receive just for being a credit card holder with certain companies. Below is a list of all the Canadian credit cards that offer free lounge access. This list does not include cards that provide a lounge membership that require a fee for each entry.
