[PROMOTION] CIBC AC Conversion Visa Summer Contest
We recently wrote up a review of the CIBC AC Conversion Visa prepaid card, which you can sign up for here (DISCONTINUED in 2024). Today, we would like to highlight a current contest that is happening.
Contest details
Between June 1, 2022 and August 31, 2022, cardholders can enter for chances to win certain prices.
The cardholder earns 1 entry for every $250 CAD load equivalent in a foreign currency. There are no limits to the number of entries.
One kicker though, the contest is open to legal residents of Canada (excluding Quebec) who have reached the age of majority.
Prizes
There are several prices to win from:
- 1 Grand prize: 2 Air Canada plane tickets
- 3 Secondary prizes: $150 cash back prizes
Note that the Air Canada prize are for economy class round-trip airfare tickets to be used for travel to one Canadian destination on an Air Canada, Air Canada Express or Air Canada Rouge. Furthermore, both passengers must depart from the same airport. The trip must be completed by May 31, 2023.
The cash back will be credited to the AC Conversion Visa Prepaid Card.
The winners will be chosen at random on September 15 2022 for all the prizes mentioned above.
Thoughts
There are some great prizes for sure. I would probably not load $250 for the sake of earning an entry. But if you were planning on loading your card anyway in the near future, mine is well do them in $250 CAD increments to receive more entries.
