Top Credit Card Higher than Normal Sign Up Bonuses for September 2016
UPDATE- Post has been updated with some TD Aeroplan promotions and RBC Cathay Pacific.
Just to avoid confusion from previous monthly lists, this list is of credit cards with higher than normal sign up bonus promotions. There are still some decent regular sign up bonus promotions that would not be included here.
The list has really trimmed down for this month. I really hope that it picks back up as we lead into the fall, but with record profits, that doesn’t seem likely at the moment. That being said, 2016 has been a pretty good year for credit card sign up bonuses through the first half of the year. Hopefully companies will at least try to close out the year strong by picking things up in time for Christmas shopping (which is a great time to meet minimum spend requirements).

Thanks. Also TD Aeroplan Visa Infinite card, they just started a campaign for welcome bonus up to 30,000 miles.
Thanks for the heads up. The post has been updated with a few other TD cards as well!
Hi Matthew,
I have opened TD Visa Infinite Aeroplan account back in May that I now switched to First Class. Do you know if I follow the TD Aeroplan Infinite promotion, will I be entitled for fee waiver and bonus points? The fineprint suggests that I probably can’t. Thanks.
I would double and triple check with multiple sources at TD to find out when you can begin qualifying for the sign up bonus again. Do not just depend on one source. However, May is fairly recent, so I suspect that you will probably have to keep waiting.
