[TRAVEL] Air Canada Luggage Toss Caught on Video

This incident, to me, is another result of the check-in baggage fee. Since the implementation of checked-in luggage bag fees, our overheads on planes are full and passengers are coming in with larger carry-ons that require to be stored in a separate compartment, that doesn’t require a fee, but does make the job more difficult for baggage handlers.

Though the baggage handler could obviously have done a better job, I feel that the checked-in bag fee is more to blame for this. Hopefully Air Canada will discover, in its investigation, that charging for baggage is actually the issue.
