In today’s post, we will be introducing Air Creebec, a regional airline headquartered in Val-d’Or, Quebec. Its major hub is the Val-d’Or Airport.

As you can see, one flight costs over $1,000 CAD while the other one is only $335.44, but they are the exact same flights. There are actually different fare classes for Air Creebec. I will hover over each price to show you the details.
For the $335.44 CAD ticket, the fare class is HSOW and this is a non refundable flight ticket.
For the $1,245.46 CAD ticket, the fare class is Y1 and this is a refundable flight ticket.

Unfortunately, all flights operated by Air Creebec are Class Y (or Economy) seats. There is no seat selection option and no First or Business Class offered on Air Creebec flights. There will still be complimentary non alcoholic beverages and snacks available on flights depending on the length of each flight.
Air Creebec Travel Information
The checked baggage allowance for Air Creebec is 44lbs per passenger. For carry-on baggage, the total weight for the Dash 8 Aircraft will be 13 lbs while all other aircrafts will allow a total of 44lbs for carry-on baggage. Air Creebec accepts freights on all flights, based on the available space. The recommended check-in time is 45 minutes before your departure time and the drop-off baggage cut off is 30 minutes; it is a little more lenient than some of our other airlines, but it is always important to give yourself enough time at the airport as any problems could occur and delay your process.
It is important to take note that Air Creebec does not usually permit stopovers, but if it is under the condition that this is arranged with the airline carrier in advance, your ticket will specify that a stopover will be allowed on that flight. Usually this will be permitted if part of your travel needs to be completed by land transportation.
Air Creebec is also a codeshare partner with Air Canada. Unfortunately, miles accumulated on Air Creebec flights will not quality for Air Canada Elite Status.
