Hi Matthew
I am looking to find another travel rewards credit card here in Canada. I have had the Capital One Aspire Travel World Elite card for the past 2 years, but they have now cancelled my account. They claimed that I was using the card for business purposes, which I admit that I was. It appears that this card is no longer available in Canada, and I cannot find any other card that offers a 2% reward on purchases. The best part of the Aspire card was the ease of “cashing in” the reward miles for travel. I was able to make any travel purchase (airfares, hotels etc) and simply “erase” the charges from my account by using the reward miles. I still would like to have the flexibility of choosing and booking any type of ticket on any airline, and have the reward miles pay for it.
Would you kindly give me your recommendation for a new travel rewards credit card, based on my preferences?
Thanks Matthew
Regards,
Frank Ernst
