Top Credit Card Sign Up Bonuses for March 2016

The beginning of January started off pretty week, and things started to pick up as the month went on. February‘s list looked a lot more promising with a few more choices. This month added a few more bonus offers.

I have ranked the credit cards by the price of the annual fees (lowest to highest) and then in alphabetical:

BMO Air Miles MasterCard – No annual fee, earn 800 bonus Air Mile miles (if you apply before April 30, 2016), earn 400 miles after the first purchase and another 400 miles after spending $1,000 in the first 3 months.

MBNA Best Western Rewards Platinum Plus MasterCard – No annual fee, earn 40,000 Best Western Rewards points after your first purchase (no specified expiry date).

Scotiabank Gold American Express Card – $99 annual fee and earn 20,000 sign up bonus points (first year fee waived if you apply before May 31, 2016) when you spend $500 in the first 3 months.

BMO CashBack World Elite MasterCard – $120 annual fee, earn $150 cash back or 15,000 points (if you apply before April 30, 2016), earn 5,000 CashBack bonus points as a new cardholder and an additional 10,000 CashBack points when you spend $3,000 in the first 3 months.

BMO Air Miles World Elite MasterCard – $120 annual fee, earn 3,000 sign up bonus Air Mile miles (if you apply before April 30, 2016), earn the first 1,000 miles after the first purchase and another 2,000 miles after spending $3,000 in the first 3 months.

Chase Marriott Rewards Visa – $120 annual fee (first year fee waived), earn 50,000 sign up bonus points after your first purchase (no specified expiry date).

TD Aeroplan Visa Infinite Card – $120 annual fee (first year fee waived if you apply before May 27, 2016), $50 annual fee for an authorized user, earn 30,000 Aeroplan bonus miles (if you apply before May 27, 2016). Earn the first 15,000 Aeroplan Miles after the first purchase. Earn an additional 10,000 Aeroplan Miles if you apply between March 1, 2016, and May 27, 2016, as well as keep your account active for 90 days. Earn the final 5,000 Aeroplan Miles when you add an authorized user and activate by July 15, 2016.

National Bank World Elite MasterCard – $150 annual fee (first year fee waived if you apply before April 30, 2016), earn 30,000 (or $300) sign up bonus (if you apply before April 30, 2016). Earn the first 20,000 points when your credit card is activated and the additional 10,000 points after the one year anniversary date.

CIBC Aerogold Visa Card for Business – $180 annual fee (first year fee waived if you apply before April 30, 2016) and earn 25,000 sign up Aeroplan bonus miles (if you apply before April 30, 2016) after your first purchase.

TD Aeroplan Visa Infinite Privilege Card – $399 annual fee, $99 annual fee for an authorized user and earn 55,000 sign up Aeroplan bonus miles (if you apply before May 27, 2016). Earn 25,000 bonus Aeroplan Miles after the first purchase. Earn an additional 25,000 Aeroplan miles when you spend $1,000 within the first 90 days. Earn the last 5,000 Aeroplan miles when you add an authorized user and activate by July 15, 2016.

American Express AeroplanPlus Platinum Card – $499 annual fee, earn 50,000 sign up bonus Aeroplan miles (if you apply before March 31, 2016) when you spend $1,000 in the first 3 months.

American Express AeroplanPlus Reserve Card – $899 annual fee, earn 60,000 sign up bonus Aeroplan miles (if you apply before March 31, 2016) when you spend $3,000 in the first 3 months.
