How crazy is that? CBC published an article reporting that Delta Airline is going to offer up to $9,950 to passengers on overbooked flights. Note that the offer is broken down as follows:
Gate agents – up to $2,000 (up from previous $800)
Supervisors – up to $9,950 (up from previous $1,350)
Delta Air Lines has a fair amount of flights coming into Canada. Of course I would like to see more, to help with the competition. Today’s post is a rundown on how Canadians can utilize Delta’s rewards program called SkyMiles.
Note that Delta Air Lines is a member of SkyTeam. Personally, I rarely fly with SkyTeam, but if I do, I bank my miles to Delta because of its expiry policy.
After a United Airlines flight between Chicago and Louisiana was overbooked, they initially asked for volunteers to leave the flight, after they were already on the plane. No volunteers showed their hands, so they randomly selected a person, and dragged him out.

WestJet decided to have a little April Fool’s fun with pretending to re-brand to Canada Air. Would not have been the worse thing to re-brand itself to a more encompassing of the entire country. WestJet does seem to refer only to a certain part of the country.
