PointsU Meetup: New Andaz Ottawa Pre-Opening Tour

Hyatt’s Andaz is coming to Ottawa, located in the Byward Market! It will be the first Andaz in Canada as well. On Saturday, August 20, 2016 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, you can join PointsU for an exclusive pre-opening tour. The hotel’s official opening is on August 23, 2016 so you’ll see some of the brand new spaces even before the official launch! After the pre-tour the PointsU meetup group will go somewhere else for drinks and discussions about points and travel hacking so don’t miss out! Space is limited, so RSVP here as soon as possible.

I’m extremely curious how the space is going to look. Ottawa has a shortage of luxury hotels in my opinion, so this option should help with that.

The hotel rates are pretty standard.

For the time being, it doesn’t seem like you can book a hotel night on points yet, but it is a category 3 hotel, which means that a standard room will cost 12,000 points and a suite will cost 20,000 points.

I’m really excited to see this new hotel, and meet some of our PointsU/Pointshogger fans again at the meetup. Hope to see you all there too!
