[PROMOTIONS] Air Miles, Aeroplan (expired)

Even though the full blown Boxing Day shopping has come and gone, there are still quite a lot of promotions out there.

Between December 26 and December 31, 2013, there are usually residual deals left. Just remember not to get tricked into buying something that you don’t actually need. But if you do need something and have been waiting for these deals to come around, then check out the following promotions below.

Air Miles is running a 3x promotion on purchases made $20 and above until December 31, 2013. The AirMilesShop is a shopping portal where you can make purchases online from its partners and earn Air Mile points along the way. For example, if you wish to make a purchase on Amazon.ca, if you go through the Air Miles shopping portal first, you will have a link to the regular Amazon.ca website. Once you click through the portal, all the money you spend on Amazon.ca will be counted towards earning Air Miles. If you notice on the website, Bose (8x) and Gap (10x) are offering every better deals than the 3x. If you plan on making a purchase online anyway, be sure to click through the portals so that you can also earn points on your purchases as well.

Aeroplan also has a shopping portal called the estore. They are running a 5x promotion until December 30, 2013. Just remember to look for items within your budget when making these purchases. I wouldn’t make the purchases just for the sake of earning the points.
