Gotta love the weekend. Here are this week’s Saturday updates!

Canadian Points University in now here!

Canadian Points University Logo

In case you haven’t heard, Canadian Points University is coming to Vancouver, BC! This is the first year points university is happening in Canada (finally!) so if you want to learn more about how to best maximize your reward points or learn how to travel for cheap, check it out on January 16th, 2016 at the Sheraton Wall Centre. Visit the Canadian Points University website for more information and ticket price. We will also provide more updates closer to the date.

You can get the early bird rate until December 15th, after which you can use our promo code POINTSHOGGER20 and get $20 off regular price!

Awarding Canada: Get the Most out of your Travel Points on your Next Trip!

If you ever had trouble booking your dream vacation using the most out of your reward points, give Awarding Canada a shout and they can help you. One of the great things about using award booking services is that they can plan your travel based on your particular needs, because let’s face it, sometimes you just want to visit as many places on your hard-earned points as possible that you don’t really care whether your hotel puts a mint on your pillow or if it has a swimming pool (at least that’s me anyway). Maybe you are semi-claustrophobic and want more personal space during your 15-hour flight. Whatever it may be, you can fill out the award booking request on our page and get started on your initial consultation. Pointshogger gets a compensation for anyone who uses their service via our website, so if we have ever helped you realize your ideal points goal, it will be much appreciated if you do it through our page!

Please note Awarding Canada is unable to provide services for Air Miles Reward Miles (but they’re good on everything else!).
