Halloween always seems like a great time to talk about Cineplex’s Scene rewards program. Since we started blogging, the program has gone through some changes over the years (2013, 2014, 2015).
Scene+ (Cineplex/Scotiabank)
Movie Gift Bundle
Star Wars is probably the most anticipated movie of the month. If you are considering going to the movies, and willing to wait a few weeks after the Premier, keep in mind that Scene is offering a nice Movie Gift Bundle (“bundle”).
Two Scotiabank Promotions (Momentum and Scene)
I have already written quite extensively about the following 2 credit cards because they frequently offer a promotion. Once again, they have extended their promotional offer. The Scotiabank Momentum Infinite Visa is offering a $100 statement credit and the Scotiabank Scene Visa Card is extending its 4,000 points sign up bonus.
Tuesday Pricing for all Cineplex Movies
From August 31st, 2015 to September 4th, 2015, Cineplex is offering Tuesday pricing which will be applied to all movies including 3D, IMAX, VIP and D-Box. The offer is now live, so you can already purchase tickets ahead of time for showings during the promotional period.
Negative Changes to the Scene Rewards Program
Cineplex’s rewards program, Scene, is revamping its program. As of November 4, 2015, it will cost a lot more points to redeem for a movie ticket.
