IHG Reward Night Changes + 60,000 Points Reward Nights
Every year, hotels change the number of points required for a reward night for a certain group of hotels that need the adjustments. IHG Rewards is changing the point redemption amounts for approximately 400 hotels, effective February 17, 2016. Here is the full list.
You will notice that redemption amounts either increase or decreased by either 5,000 or 10,000 points. If you look carefully at the list you will see some hotels going up to 55,000 or even 60,000 points per night. These are some brutal increases that I am not too happy about.
