Aeroplan and Parkland (Journie Rewards) Team up!

Air Canada’s Aeroplan and Parkland’s Journie Rewards are teaming up to increase earning and redemption opportunities.

Parkland owns and operates Canadian gas stations including Ultramar, Chevron, Pioneer, Fas Gas, and ON the RUN and Marché Express. These stations allow customers to earn Journie Rewards, which we are a big fan of. The partnership is set to launch in the fall of 2023.

Current 10% and Above Cash Back Offers for April 2023

We are back again with another month of top credit cards currently offering at least a 10% cash back bonus promotion. There is only one cash back promotion expiring this month. 

There are many other cash back offers out there too, but because the market is very competitive now, so only the 10% and above offer make it to our monthly list. Keep in mind that we still have the Top Cash Back Credit Cards page for a more complete list of cards.

Top Credit Cards for Purchasing Gas (updated April 14, 2023)

It was good while it latest I guess. Looks like gas prices have started to spike again in the month of April after a few months of stability prior to that. Starting with new carbon tax, supply issues, etc. This is probably as good as time as any to list some of the best credit cards to use for gas purchases.

[DISCONTINUED] American Express Air Miles Co-Branded Cards

With BMO looking to purchase Air Miles, American Express has discontinued its American Express Air Miles co-branded credit cards. It was really only a matter of time it seems. 

All the links are broken now on their website are broken now. If you are an existing cardholders, it looks like you can continue to use your card. But I would expect those to be discontinued in the feature too.
