We have had plenty of hints on new changes to the Aeroplan co-branded cards. Today, American Express (AMEX) has released more details on the new co-branded Aeroplan cards it will be offering from November 8, 2020 onward.
The most notable enhancement is the 3x the Aeroplan points on Air Canada purchases. Furthermore, AMEX released its new designs too:
Some minor changes to this month’s list. HSBC cards have been taken off as they expired a week ago or so. The TD cards are next up. They will not make it to next month’s list. So if you are thinking about those cards, I would go for them. While Brim extended their offer another month, so you have a few more days left to take advantage.

Top no annual fee cash back credit card offers for August 2020
In Canada, we are fortunate enough to have 3 credit card companies who have partnered up with Air Canada to offer co-branded credit cards. Since Air Canada has bought out Aeroplan, the plan, at the moment, is for all 3 companies to continue offering such cards, with some changes. The expectation is that the launch of these changes will occur on November 8, 2020, along with a host of other changes to the revamped Air Canada frequent flyer program.

Today’s post will preview some of the changes that we can expect to see. Some details still need to worked out, so we will be watching closely.

I’ve held off writing this post for a while now because I am still a little shocked and sadden by the changes.
You may have read about the Capital One World Elite Aspire Travel MasterCard that was discontinued almost 3 years ago to new applicants. However, existing cardholders were allowed to keep their cards with the same features and benefits. At the time, I found that to be a very generous move by Capital One. I am proud to say that I kept the card all this time.
This month’s list has really trimmed down with CIBC now offering more permanent first year fee waived offers. Because of that, I have also taken off the ongoing first year fee waived offers as that list grew too long.
