Credit Cards which offer Free Airport Lounge Access (updated August 8, 2026)

It has been 3 years since I last updated this post, quite has changed since then. Last time, I mentioned there are lots of complaints about overcrowding in airport lounges. If anything, crowding may have gotten even worse. I would say the biggest reason is because credit card issuers have become quite generous in offering free lounge access. Below is a list of all the Canadian credit cards that offer free lounge access. This list does not include cards that provide a lounge membership that require a fee for each entry.

My Best Points Earning Experience

Today, I would like to share my best, one time, points earning experience ever. This event actually occurred before Pointshogger was even created. The reason I say that is because it makes it even more impressive, in hindsight, considering I have yet to be able to top it. This one time transaction can easily be duplicated even today and it’s not even a loophole, so no harm done to anyone.

Since the start of the decade (2022, 2021, 2020), we managed to update this list every December, mine as well keep going.

There were quite a few major changes in the industry, so there was some shift in the rankings. They are now divided in the 3 groups: top 5, from 6 to 10, and the rest.
