A Pointshogger reader alerted us today that American Express Canada has revamped its Starwood Preferred Guest Credit Card, one day after the Marriott unification announcement. The major change is the elimination of the 20,000 sign up bonus points and changed into a statement credit instead.
Not much has changed this past month in the cash back scene.

With the termination of the grandfathered Chase Marriott and Amazon cards, which waived foreign transaction fees, the Rogers Bank Fido MasterCard and Rogers Platinum MasterCard have become slight more popular cards to use on foreign purchases. However, effective March 13, 2018 and May 23, 2018, there are/will be some changes to the cards.
