The most frequently asked question that I get when talking to people is: “What is the best credit card?” This is a very subjective question where the answer varies depending on the person’s priorities.
At the beginning of the month, we predicted that the cash back market is going to heat up this year. So I am expecting to be very busy with updating this monthly post this year. To start the year off, the two Tangerine 15% cash back offers end this month, while Scotiabank has added its Momentum card to the list.
It has been just over a year since our last update (December 1, 2020) of the rankings list. The timing works well to update again this month, since we are coming to the end of the year. Now we get a snapshot of 2021, as we head into 2022.

Tangerine has decided to up its game even further is a 15% cash back offer with its 2 cards: Tangerine Money-Back Credit Card and Tangerine World MasterCard. This is definitely the highest promotion we have ever seen.
This 10% cash back monthly post is being published 1 day earlier than normal because both the Tangerine Money-Back Credit Card and Tangerine World MasterCard have an offer that expires today. So we wanted to give everyone one last reminder to apply for it if you are thinking about it. Meanwhile, the Scotia Momentum Visa Infinite Card offer that expired last month has been extended.
