[PROMOTIONS] Aeroplan, Esso (expired)

Aeroplan and Esso are teaming up for a double the points promotion. Normally, you:

• Earn 3 points for every $3 spent on Supreme grade gas
• Earn 2 points for every $3 spent on or Extra grade gas
• Earn 1 point for every $3 spent on Regular Grade gas and other eligible purchases at an Esso station

Now you can double your earnings to:

• 6 points for every $3 spent on Supreme grade gas
• 4 points for every $3 spent on or Extra grade gas
• 2 point for every $3 spent on Regular Grade gas and other eligible purchases at an Esso station

Keep in mind that you need to fill up to a multiple of 3 to maximize your return. For example, if you only fill up $20 of Supreme grade gas, you will only earn 18 points, because $18 is the closest multiple of 3. You will need to fill up to $21 to receive 21 points. Partial points are not awarded.

This promotion ends on June 2, 2014. So if you are a fan Aeroplan points, this is a great way to stockpile your account. This is a bittersweet promotion because gas prices have really soared high in the past few weeks, so we do get to earn more points for our higher gas bills.
