There was only a slight change this month where the Scotia Momentum Visa Infinite Card offer was extended.
For this month, the Tangerine offer is coming to an end before we reach the next monthly list.
Keep in mind that we still have the Top Cash Back Credit Cards page, which includes permanent and temporary offers if you wish to see a more complete list of cards, not just cards that offer at least 10% cash back.
Costco and Capital One ended their relationship, but when one door closes, another door opens. Just for reference, here are the highlights of each card for comparison’s sake.
I cannot believe that it has been almost 7 years since I last updated this post. There is no question that this post can use an update, especially considering how much gas prices have gone up over the last 12 months in Canada.
The better strategy is still to purchase gas using a credit card to meet minimum spend requirements for new promotional sign up bonuses.
It has been just over a year since our last update (December 1, 2020) of the rankings list. The timing works well to update again this month, since we are coming to the end of the year. Now we get a snapshot of 2021, as we head into 2022.
Today is the second last day to apply for one of the two Tangerine cards (Tangerine Money-Back Credit Card, Tangerine World MasterCard) to benefit from the 10% cash back bonus. The Scotia Momentum Visa Infinite Card offer is also coming to an end this month if you have been thinking about it.
Two Tangerine cards have been added to this month’s list. This is the first time that Tangerine has offered a 10% cash back bonus.
Keep in mind that we still have the Top Cash Back Credit Cards page, which includes permanent and temporary offers if you wish to see a more complete list of cards, not just cards that offer at least 10% cash back.
There have been no changes from last month’s list compared to this month.
Keep in mind that we still have the Top Cash Back Credit Cards page, which includes permanent and temporary offers if you wish to see a more complete list of cards, not just cards that offer at least 10% cash back.
Note that we have split up the list into temporary (limited time) and permanent offers (indefinite, but can end any time without notice).
Two months ago, the HSBC offers came to and end, only to show back up a little different this time around. The two American Express promotions expired last month. For this month, only the RBC WestJet offer is up for expiry, but RBC also added 4 new offers that will expire in July.
This month’s list did not have any changes from last month, which means the 10% cash back market remains strong with 5 different financial institutions offering such promotions.
Keep in mind that we still have the Top Cash Back Credit Cards page, which includes permanent and temporary offers if you wish to see a more complete list of cards, not just cards that offer at least 10% cash back.
