Happy Thanksgiving! Yes, the Canadian one. This has become a yearly tradition (2016, 2015, 2014) where I list what I am thankful about in the rewards industry!
1) Thank you for reward programs! I am so grateful to be rewarded for my regular spending. In life, expenses can easily rack up over the course of the year. It is nice to know that we get something in return at the end of the tunnel.
Just in case there is a confusion, this is the Canadian Thanksgiving. That being said, let’s continue our yearly (2015, 2014) Thanksgiving theme. It is very easy to be negative in this industry. So the time today is to focus purely on the positives of the loyalty rewards world.
I think that I might use Thanksgiving as a yearly theme to list out all that I am thankful for in the miles and points world. Hopefully every year the list will change because of positive improvements in the industry.
