Once it has been done, it seems like the ball is going to keep on rolling. Air Canada and WestJet are really trying to duel it out, in terms of Christmas holiday videos.

This is the 2015 WestJet Christmas Miracle: 12,000 mini miracles video. WestJet set out to perform 12,000 miracles and ended up with 31,793. The video seems very busy, while trying to cram as many miracles as possible. They are really trying to stretch the standard and really outdone themselves with all of the stuff that they are giving out.
There are always going to be the positive and negative reviews. Of course this is a marketing strategy, but it’s probably one of the better ideas. This marketing strategy actually gives back to people, rather than just putting up a regular commercial on TV that doesn’t give back to anyone.
It is not only a commercial strategy on a YouTube channel, but also something as simple as passing out a WestJet blanket to a homeless. Now when you walk by a homeless person, you may see WestJet’s logo on the blanket that they are using.
As for as marketing goes, I am a big fan of this type of marketing and an even bigger fan of the competition between Air Canada and WestJet. Thumbs up to both airlines!
