Canadian Airline Series: Wasaya Airways
As I mentioned in a previous post, Bearskin Airlines has a partner relationship with Wasaya Airways. Wasaya Airways is a First Nations owned domestic airline with major hubs in Thunder Bay International Airport and Sioux Lookout Airport. In 2003, Wasaya Airways bought the rights to serve remote First Nations communities from Bearskin Airlines. Not only that, but Wasaya Airways also supplies food, clothing, hardware and other supplies to 25 remote communities in Ontario.
