American Express 30% Transfer Bonus to British Airways Executive Club
American Express Membership Rewards Canada is currently offering a 30% transfer bonus to British Airways’ Executive Club.
It may not seem obvious on the website, so click on the “Product Information” tab to see the offers.
Promotional Period
Basically, the offer runs from September 25, 2018 until November 25, 2018.
It takes about 5 business days for the points to go through.
Conditions
You need to transfer a minimum of 1,000 Membership Rewards points, so it would look like this:
- 1,000 Membership Rewards points = 1,000 + 300 (30% bonus) Executive Club Avios
Thereafter, you will need to transfer in increments of 100 points. So if you are trying to liquidate your account, you will want to top up your Membership Reward points to the nearest 100, so that you do not have any leftover points.
History
Back in 2012 and 2013, we saw 50% transfer bonus offers. Then there was a break in 2014. From 2015 to 2017, we saw 25% transfer bonuses.
So relatively speaking, it is nice to see a 30% transfer bonus this time around.
40% transfer bonus is what I see, not 30%
Can you send me the exact source and quote of where you see 40%? The Canadian transfer bonus?
I only see 1:1 transfer. Is this targeted?
