IHG Rewards continues to make strides to help confirm that they will continue to be my favourite hotel chain. IHG Rewards that they will not be increasing the number of points required for an award night. The reverse has happened, they are actually reducing by 5,000 points for an award night for 101 different hotels worldwide. The changes go into effect on April 15, 2014.
