Last Chance to Fast Track Air Canada Elite Status

There are only a few days left to fast track to Air Canada elite status with the Travel at Home campaign. I say fast track because there is not a lot of work involved (i.e. no flying required) to earn Air Canada elite status.

Recap of Travel at Home

If you are looking for a quick suggestion, figured out how many eligible miles you earn between April 20, 2020 and today, then transfer whatever else you need from American Express Membership Rewards to top up your account. You will need to have earned the miles by May 31, 2020 to qualify.

Aeroplan members who earn 50,000 miles will receive an Air Canada Altitude Prestige 25K status valid through 2021. So this applies more for people who do not have any elite status.

Furthermore, these are the other bonuses that you can earn:

Consider Upgrading to 75K

Note that if you earn at least 250,000 miles, you can receive a one-time Altitude status upgrade up to a maximum of Altitude Elite 75K. The lower tier one-time upgrades may not feel that worthwhile, but a bump from Elite 50K to 75K might be the most worthwhile, especially because 75K members have the ability to gift an Altitude Elite 35K status to a friend.

eStore Bonuses and 2-Day Mega Event

From now until May 31, the Aeroplan eStore has been offering higher than normal multiplier bonuses. Keep in mind that this is in addition to the bonus 5x miles that you can earn using any of the co- branded Aeroplan credit cards (i.e. American Express, CIBC and TD).

Stay turned for a 2-Day Mega Event this coming weekend to finish off the month.
