Rundown of United Airlines’ MileagePlus for Canadians (updated March 19, 2016)

Though United Airlines may not be best known for its elite program, they do hold a lot of value in terms of rewards redemptions. Unfortunately for Canadians, there is no co-branded credit card that allows us to earn United Airline’s MileagePlus miles. There is no Canadians transferable points program either.

Travel Between Montreal to Toronto in 30 Minutes

In 2013, SpaceX founder and billionaire Elon Musk announced a Hyperloop challenge to design what he calls a “fifth mode of transportation.” A Toronto startup company called Transpod took up the challenge and is looking at designing a high speed mode of transportation that could potentially allow you to travel between Montreal and Toronto in 30 minutes. Aeroplan Conversion Bonus (March 14, 2016 – April 18, 2016)

Aeroplan is once again offering its conversion bonus promotion. This time around, they are offering its highest level of bonus ever. What I like most about this promotion is that there is an indication from Aeroplan that they are trying to improve their program by offering something more competitive than before. This is the least they could do since their devaluations to their award chart.
