Marriott Rewards and Chase Canada have teamed up to offer a co-branded credit card that allows you to earn Marriott Rewards points. This is one generally known as one of the top credit card sign up bonuses out there.
There is currently a 60,000 sign up bonus offer with the MBNA Best Western MasterCard. You may have received an email looking like this:
Just a few quick decent promotional offers to look out for during the weekend. Aeroplan is once again offering its eStore bonus, IHG Rewards’ new Pointsbreak it out but disappointing and Hilton HHonors’ offer is awesome!
Location is pretty much the biggest advantage of such hotels of an airport hotel. As you know, Canada can get pretty cold in the winter. So if you happen to have a layover in a Canadian airport and don’t feel like leaving the airport (so that you don’t have to pack a winter jacket), then these airports are the most optimal for such situations. Especially if you have a layover for 10 hours or less that goes overnight when airport lounges are closed.

It is very slim pickings for co-branded hotel loyalty program credit cards in Canada. These are only 4 credit cards left to choose from. This also means that the market is completely wide open. Unfortunately, the weak Canadian dollar is really not helping the potential for a hotel rewards program to want to enter the Canadian market.
Marriott buying out Starwood could really mean the end of Starpoints. But for now, things remain status quo and it may be 12-18 more months before we see any sort of movement in the reward programs. For now, there is still time to accumulate Starpoints.
