Keep in mind that these credit cards are specific to a loyalty program. So unless you use these programs, you’re better off getting a cash back credit card instead.

If there is one absolute best Canadian travel credit card out there, the American Express Platinum Card might be it. The catch is, it is only the best credit card if you maximize all the perks. Happy Halloween! Rundown of the Scene Program 2013

Are you up for a scary movie tonight? For all you movie lovers and movie theatre goers, the SCENE Rewards Program has some great value. Cineplex has done a great job with the SCENE program, even starting to run out its competitors, such as Empire Theatres. The SCENE program has actually continually increased the value of its program without much devaluations and I hope it continues to keep this up. [ANALYSIS] The AMEX SPG Preferred Guest Credit Card

Currently, AMEX is running a 21,000 Starpoints sign up bonus if you have a friend or family member who can refer you the card. Otherwise, the regular sign up bonus is only 10,000. So far, this is the highest sign up bonus seen for this credit card, so if you have been wanting to sign up for this card, this would be a good time. Though I still prefer waiting for the first year annual fee to be waived before signing up for any credit card. I actually prefer having a smaller sign up bonus if it meant that the annual fee was waived. That being said, the annual fee can still be worth it depending on your spending habits.
