An article from CBC: Summer travel surge has WestJet and Air Canada asking for volunteer help is reporting that Canadian airlines are now asking their staff to work for free.

Air Canada’s frequent flyer program, Aeroplan, and Uber Canada are expanding their partnership from only Uber Eats to also include Uber Passes. Effective, today, September 8, 2021, Aeroplan members who are also (CIBC and TD) co-branded credit cards holders can sign up for a complementary Uber Pass membership, while American Express co-branded cardholders will have to wait until November 1, 2021.

About a month ago, the Canadian government open its borders, slightly, for U.S. residents. Though not fully open, travel restrictions were eased.
Effective today, September 7, 2021, the exemption list was expanded to all other foreign nationals who qualify for the fully vaccinated traveller exemption. Basically, those who qualify for the fully vaccinated traveller exemption are exempt from: quarantine and Day-8 testing requirement.
The Scotiabank Gold American Express promotion that expired last month got extended to November, while the RBC WestJet World Elite MasterCard had a slight change to its offer that now expires in January.
