With car prices skyrocketing the past 2 years, the Scotiabank GM Visa Infinite Card had a decent deal where we can earn 5% cash back (on the first $10,000) on GM purchases.
Unfortunately, the card has been discontinued, effective June 15, 2022 to new customers. But existing card holders can continue to use their card.
This is being posted 1 day earlier than normal because one Scotiabank offer expires today (Scotiabank Passport Visa Infinite Card), while the Scotiabank Gold American Express offer was modified slightly and now expires at the end of October.

It is also the time of the year where we publish our mid-term report. This post is written at the halfway mark of 2022. We published our 2022 New Year’s wish list back on January 1st and the final report will be published on New Year’s Eve.
For this month, the TD offers that expired at the end of May, were extended to the fall (expiry depends on the type of card). Otherwise, there are no offers expiring this month. The next set of expiring promotions are at the end of August for the time being.
Compared to last month, Tangerine extended their offers to end of July. There are no other offers that are expiring soon.

Air Miles is offering up to 10x the bonus miles offer between June 10, 2022 right up to Father’s Day on June 19, 2022 on their shopping portal: Air Miles Shops.
Not all stores are participating in the bonus offers. Some have 2x or 3x bonuses. Otherwise, the more significant ones are the 10x and 5x ones

As you probably already know, I am a fan of survey programs to earn some side rewards. My survey hobby started back in 2011, when I wanted to keep certain reward accounts active. Certain programs offer members the ability to survey currency, which can later be converted to airline frequent flyer or hotel loyalty programs. Such an activity helps keep those accounts active.
