This is essentially a follow up to WestJet’s plan to buy Boeing 787 Dreamliners so that they can offer more international flights. WestJet has decided to take the next step by asking for approval from Transport Canada to offer direct flights to China.
Every Tuesday, VIA Rail offers its weekly discounts. The extend of the discounts vary from week to week. This week, we see one of the better deals. If your travel is extremely flexible, it is usually worthwhile to wait for these deals to come out before booking a trip.

Carrot Rewards has become quite a popular App since expanding outside of British Columbia, where it originally started. Carrot Rewards has expanded to Ontario, as well as Newfoundland and Labrador. Seems like they have some plans to expand to more provinces, so be on the lookout for that!
Tip- If you have a family or friend living on one of those provinces, you may be able to borrow their postal code. The precaution I would take is whether the postal code on your loyalty account matches.
