[AIRLINE] Air Canada Jumps on the Baggage Fee Bandwagon

After fellow WestJet airlines make a move to stamp on $25 for first checked bags, Air Canada decides to jump on the bandwagon days following. The fees started applying on September 18, 2014 for flights as of November 2, 2014 to the lowest economy flights within Canada. Lucky for us, the fees will not apply to specific frequent flyers and to flyers who purchased an Air Canada Vacations package.

[ANALYSIS] Sens MBNA Rewards MasterCard

As a big fan of the Ottawa Senators, every season I try my best to make it out to a few of their home games. If you’re a big hockey fan and haven’t had the opportunity to check out one of Senators’ live games, this is definitely a highlight you don’t want to miss out on. I was completely enticed by the loud music, passionate audience, and close-up play; consequently, my eyes were locked on the players and game play all night.

[AIRLINE] Air Canada Rouge YOW-LAS

This is the first time I had flown with Air Canada Rouge (from Ottawa-YOW to Las Vagas-LAS). Since flying Air Canada to our destination would clock in over 500 Aeroplan miles for me, I decided it was an ideal choice. Previously I had read some articles which suggested that this flight team would be one of the most modern and youngest of the Air Canada line. I was pretty ecstatic to see how this would differ from the regular Air Canada airlines. While waiting in our tiny airport at YOW, it would be inevitable for us to see the flight crew board the airplane in which we would be sitting in minutes after.

[HOTEL REVIEW] Delta Markham (Markham, Ontario)

As the summer is reaching a slow halt in Ottawa, my friends and I decided that we needed to do something productive, so of course the next best thing surrounding the outskirts of Ottawa (by 451 kilometers to be exact) is our friendly neighbor, a place we call Toronto. Immediately we decided that Wonderland (one day pass can be redeemed for 375 Air Miles) would be our top priority this trip, so we would definitely have to make this an overnight stay.
